Spring Break and Opening Day

 I came over for my Spring Break so we could celebrate with the Mariners and stop and visit my father-in-law.

Money Saver

During Christmas, my parents offered to help us save money, which led to us bringing most of Tim's stuff to my place and him to move in with the parents this past weekend.  We looked into many different ways to get his stuff over and after some helpful suggestions so we decided to get a trailer rather than a big UHAUL. It turned out to be the worst idea ever!!!! I was so nervous the whole time that it was going to break or we were going to hit something and I wasn't even driving it, Tim was. I was following in Jett and he was driving Blue.  Thankfully we made it up to his place just fine, filled it, and then made it to Spokane without any incident.

Doing Green Bluff

It's fall and this what people do in Spokane...Green Bluff. We went to High Country, Siemers, and Harvest house. Taking it all in.

We did the corn maze and got lost!

We also did the hay bale maze and couldn't find our way out!

And although you can't see it, we actually climbed a tire hill and are standing on top of it.

Then we went and he picked me some flowers.

Bike Riding

Today I took my inaugural bike ride with my new bike. Thankfully I didn't fall and there was no tears. The last time I rode, it was awful, today not so much. I rode from my house and up a bit of a hill and then rode down, down, down to the trail.  Then I rode the trail, which looks flat, but isn't, past where I stopped before and then I took a new road that continued to go down some more to the bottom of my hill.  The only poopy part was going up the hill!

I did ride for 50min and did 5 miles. I did a few stops and few photo ops. Overall I felt good.  I want to ride again, but just as I showed up at home, it started to rain! Nuts!

A Sunday Hike

A little family time and a little hike. 

We played in the waterfall and down the stream.

Then I found a snake. It's hard to see, but it's on the top of the rock.

I thought he was dead, but then he started to move.

Sunday Adventure

Woke up to the SUN this morning and decided I needed to go out on a little adventure.  I went up and behind my house on top of the hill.  There is sidewalk that goes up there and meanders about for a long time and then it just ends.  That is when I went off roading a bit.

And on that adventure I found some mud! And then the mud found my shoes and stuck to it!

And then I found a great over look!

Delayed

Showed up just in time to get on my plane, only to find out that it was delayed 3 hours!!!! Dang!!! That is a long time!
So I hung out.
I watched other get upset and mad!
I read...and read...and read some more.
I moved seats cause the guy behind me that kept cleaning his throat was killing me.
I hung out with Flat Stanley

I ate some sweet and salty nuts!

I read more.
A lady waiting for the same plane talked to me.
I read more.
I did some texting
Then my phone died and I went back to reading.
Then I found out my plane was going to be even later.
My flight was supposed to leave at 6:56 and didn't leave until 10:20ish!
I didn't get into town until 11:20ish!
Late!
Thankfully  I made it safe!
