Valentines Decorations

Saw this

Loved it and thought I could do something similar.  I was actually wanting to make red wreaths, but I already had a bunch of tan burlap cut, so I just used the tan.  The sticks came from my sister's hill that I collected on a walk with my nieceroo and sister.
I put it together and this is what I got.

Sadly, the decorations kept pulling through the tape that was helping to hold it up, so now only the right side is up and the left side is down.

Valentines Day Sweaters!

6 years ago, we got matching sweaters for Valentines Day and now even though we all work at different schools we are all still wearing our sweaters!

Valentines For Work

Last night I created Valentine's presents for my co-workers and kiddos.  I stuck with an oldie, but a goodie for the adults.  Each time I gave one out, I got down on my knee and asked them if they would be my valentine, like I was proposing to them.  I got lots of surprised looks and giggles, but thankfully everyone said yes.

For my birthday, I bought a big box of chips for snacks and I also figured I could use them for school.  Never did I think I would be using them so soon.  I created something exactly like this for each of my kids.  (I didn't get any pictures, so I'm using the one from pintrest that I pinned, so I knew what to create.)

A Forever Yes!

Just about 18 months ago, she got the call. Baby girl. 5 days old. Left at the hospital. Can you take her? She said yes, wondering what she was getting into and today she said yes again, but this time it was a forever yes!
I'm so happy for my friend and her little one Grace Elizabeth McMakin, who became a family today.
She's appeared on here before back when GA first got her. She was about a week old here.

And now she is all grown up....

Sunset Cuteness

Years ago when I first started doing photography and learning new techniques I found one I really wanted to try out. It's called backlighting and is spoken about here by jasmine star and here by melissa jill. I even tried it here. Well when I went to try it out again, just a mere 3 years later, it had gotten a little too dark, but I don't care! I love these even more.
