Happy Fourth of July

We drove into town in time to have America's Favorite Meal, Papa Murphy's Pizza and then headed downtown to watch the fireworks.  We stopped at the new patio bar at the Davenport Grand Hotel for a drink and then decided to stay for the fireworks.  Sadly there was a big building that blocked many of them!!! I wondered about them being blocked as we waited for them to start, but there were so many people there, I though maybe they new better than I did, but no such luck!

New Years

Hope you all are sharing this holiday with ones you love. I will be with my halau celebrating this new year, yet many a year you would find me at my uncle and aunts house praying the new year in. The best part about this holiday is the parades and the football games.
