A Mirror At The Right Height

My nieceroo has been dancing and moving in front of her fireplace ever since she moved into her house. It is a great "mirror", right at her height. Over the time I was doing my j-o-b at their house, my nephew really got into it too. He would dance and move and then run away so his sister could take her turn.
One morning as my nieceroo was doing my hair, my nephew pulled up his bike and started doing tricks on it totally watching himself in the "mirror". He was standing up on the bike, riding sideways, and backwards. I ran and got my camera and hoped that I could capture all that was going on in the mirror and this is what I caught.

Day Five on the J-O-B

Today we hung around home most of the day and then headed out to the Indian Park. Nieceroo made some friends and the Nephew swung in the swings after a few snacks. On the way home we made a little stop at 7-11 for Slurpees cause it was soo hot, then it was home for lunch and then naps. Nieceroo and I had a Tea Party after naps and then headed off to ballet. Usually she gets dropped off and then the nephew gets put in childcare, but I had to be a member to put him in! Nuts! So he and I ended up playing the whole 45 min. while nieceroo was in ballet. The nephew really enjoyed watching the aerobics class.
We came home and had spaghetti for dinner and then the parents Skyped with the kids. It was super funny to watch. The kids were excited to see them. Nieceroo wanted to show her parents everything she got and the nephew just wanted to touch the computer. After the call, we headed out to froyo (aka frozen yogurt) I walked, so my froyo calories wouldn't count and pushed the kids in the stroller. We ate our froyo and then headed back just as a 5k was finishing on their road. We saw the last finishers finish. The second to last finisher was 3 and sporting a mohawk and the last finisher was only 2 yrs. old. They took an hour and a half to finish.
We came home and chatted a few minutes with the neighbors. Then it was inside for baths for both kids and then to bed to prepare for the last day.

Day Four on the J-O-B

Today was another early morning, but we did a little playing around and laying around and then it was breakfast and a little dance party courtesy of Pandora!
Then we headed to the Jumpy House out in the Valley. We jumped and climbed and jumped and went down the slides. We played a little long and had to pay extra money! Blah!!! But the kids had fun and are still sleeping after falling into bed after a late lunch (It's 3:39!)
The plan for after naps is to go to the mall to get Leia some new earrings as she got her ears pierced for her 4th birthday, play on the kiddie playground at the mall, and then it's home for dinner and a little walk before bedtime.
And it will be an early night for me.
Update:
Naps went well and long. So it was dinner and then the mall. The kiddos loved the mall playground and made a few friends. Kekoa really loved a Russian man who wanted nothing to do with him. He was playing with his phone the whole time and Kekoa tried to give him Leia's shoe over and over again. Leia got 3 new pairs of earrings and even had money left to ride the kiddie rides at the mall.
We didn't get a walk in, but we did get baths and to bed.

Day Three on the J-O-B

Today was super busy. Everyone slept in, thank goodness, because both kiddos were up last night one with a scary dream and the other with a poopy diaper. We watched a little My Little Pony about pony Applebottom who was picking all the apples from the tree, that is when my little nieceroo decided she wanted apple crisp for breakfast. The good thing was that we had the apples to make it. After the show was over, we all headed upstairs and made apple crisp for breakfast and then got ready to go to Mobius kids. Mobius kids is a science center for kids to come and discover and everything is set up at kid height. We had a fun time and then headed to the carousal at Riverfront Park. Nieceroo got to ride on her own horse and my nephew got to ride his own horse as well. He usually has to ride with an adult, but this time, he was a big boy and rode by himself. Of course there is no pictures of this as I had to have my hands on him at all time.
After that we headed home for lunch, naps, and then we were off again to another park with kids. We passed at least three parks and no kids were there (it was 4:30 5ish) Finally, we found a park with kids. We played and played and played and then finally we came home, had dinner, and invented a new game! Oh, you totally want to know I'm sure....
It is an inside game and we use lids of Safeway Soup containers.
Then it was bath for both kids and bedtime.

Day Two on the J-O-B

Woke up early this morning thought I'd get a shower in. As I stepped out of the shower I heard some crying above me...Nuts! It was only 6:54AM. He usually sleeps till 8AM! I went up and got him and he just wanted to be held and eat, plus he was wet all the way through! My nieceroo woke up at 7:30ish. We sat on the couches and told stories with each other. She is sooo into them and really pays attention. After awhile we had breakfast and then went to the store. After the store it was home to get our suits and then to park to play in the water. We spent a long time at the water park and then headed home for a late lunch and late naps. After naps we played in the house and out on the porch and then bbqed some dinner. We ate dinner and then headed off for a walk up the hill. It was baths for everyone once we came home and then straight into bed for one and a quick tv show for the other and then off to bed.
I for sure need to get into bed, cause I'm sure they will be up sooner than I want them too...

FYI: I've been taking pictures, but I didn't bring my usb...so I'll look for one tomorrow, so I can upload the photos.

First Day on the J-O-B!

I'm in charge this week of two little ones, my nieceroo and nephew. So far soo good. We went to the park, played mummies and made a fort. We also cooked a little banana bread and ate some lunch. Now it's finally nap time. What am I supposed to do this afternoon?

Don't worry I have a plan!
