Usually Cassie and I go camping every Memorial Day and although we both knew it was coming up this year and we both had talked about it, neither of us booked a spot, so when we finally got around to it, no good spots were open (and some one didn't want to go through storage to get out her camping gear!) so we decided to "camp" at my house. I decorated and got everything out and ready.
Friday we started with HH at Azteca with a small group of friends, then headed back to my house for some good girl talk.
Saturday we did breakfast at Maggies and set out to do some Thrift Store shopping. We both got some really good deals and then stopped by an old friends (story to come later.) For dinner, we went to a former co-workers house, who has an annual bbq, yet we've never been able to go because we are always out of town. Then once we got home, she whooped me soundly at Spite Malice.
Sunday we had breakfast at home (eggs and Portuguese sausage) and then headed out for more errand running, then downtown to Goodwill, the Seahawk store, and finally some yummy Chinese at Honey Court. Then we came home and promptly took a nap or read a book.
Later that night, I did finally beat her at cards and we went and got fro-yo before the big crowds hit.

Monday we tried to do a craft, but we couldn't find the stuff (Who sells candle making supplies?) Dang!
It was a busy weekend, but so good to see my friend and start off Camping Season with a bang.
