1. Do you believe in miracles?
I do believe in miracles. Many have happened to make this world the place it is.
Hmmm, oooh recent fad I tired was the "sweater tights".
I tried them on and contemplated them. Couldn't decide if I really liked them or not. I walked out of the store and saw a girl my size wearing them and I decided NO WAAAAAAAYYYYYY!
3. Peppermint-are you a fan? If so, what's your favorite food or beverage containing peppermint?
Love peppermint! In my drinks, in a candy cane, and in lotion. I especially like it in a white chocolate peppermint mocha.
4. Break the ice, on thin ice, as cold as ice (emotionally, not literally)...which phrase have you run into most recently? Explain.
On thin ice...I got in trouble this week with a parent who is supposedly calling my boss to tell her about it. So the rest of the week I felt like I was on thin ice waiting for the ice to break. It never did. I don't know if the parent ever called my boss, but my guess is she didn't and by the time we are back in school it will be forgotten, so we will see, but I'm over it now.
One summer I worked as a Day Camp Director. During the day we ran day camp and at night we were invited to people's homes for dinner. For me it wasn't a very good summer, I had a horrible time with breaking their chairs. No matter what chair I sat in, I seemed to break it. Of course the places I broke chairs at were people I had only met once (that night) and never saw again. I felt horrible and couldn't apologize enough.
6. 'Tis the week before Christmas...are you feeling more like Buddy the Elf or the Grinch before his heart grew?
Buddy the Elf for sure. "Santa...I know him!!!" Although I'm done shopping, I keep finding more and more gifts to buy for everyone. It's a good thing I'm not taking a suitcase to Spokane, because I would bought a whole bunch more.
7. Share a favorite quote relating to Christmas.
-from Christmas Story
[in a Chinese restaurant]
Waiter #1, Waiter #2, Waiter #3: [singing] Deck the harrs with boughs of horry, fa ra ra ra ra, ra ra ra ra.
Chop Suey Palace Owner: No, no, not 'ra ra ra ra', 'la la la la'! Try again.
Waiter #1, Waiter #2, Waiter #3: Deck the harrs with boughs of horry, fa ra ra ra ra, ra ra ra ra.
Chop Suey Palace Owner: No, no! Sing something else.
Waiter #1, Waiter #2, Waiter #3: Jingre bers, jingre bers, jingre arr the way. Oh what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sreigh!

Only 2 more get ups until break and it for sure can't get here soon enough. I'm ready for it now. My kids are ready for it as well.
