Wednesday Hodgepodge Vol. 150

1. Describe a typical Sunday from your childhood.

Sunday school,  church and then coffee hour with a few cookies no coffee.  Home for lunch and then reading through the newspaper's funnies and ads.   The afternoon was a mismatch of watching tv or playing games, then we would have dinner and watch the Disney movie on ABC.

2. How comfortable are you with uncertainty? Explain.

I'm okay with it.  I live in the here and now and because I can't control uncertainty, then I don't worry about it.  I don't want to waste my time. I want live in the moment and live it to the fullest.

3. What have you accomplished recently that might be described as crafty, as in 'arts and crafts' crafty?  If crafty doesn't work for you, how about handy? Or both?

I'm totally an artsy craftsy person. I just met up with a group of friends and we did pintrest activities for 6 hours.  We all go to accomplish on project from each person.  We covered dollar store fruit with fabric and modge podge.  We decorated white mugs and then baked them, so the drawing would stay.  We made cookie pioneer hats and bath aroma therapy things (not in the picture).  We used socks and rice to make snowmen. It was a busy day.

 4. Have you ever worked in a 'food place'? What did you take away from the experience?

I've never worked at a "food place".  It's not really for me.

5. Cold turkey, talk turkey, what a turkey...in recent days, which turkey phrase or idiom best applies to you and why? Click on the word turkey if you need to read more about the meaning behind each phrase.

I guess I would have to say cold turkey.  Although I haven't stopped doing anything, I'm pretty cold every night sitting in my home as I'm not turning on my heat.

6. If you could have any one guest join your Thanksgiving dinner table, who would it be?

I would have my Grandpa join me for Thanksgiving dinner if I could only have one person.  It's been such a long time since he's passed and I miss him, therefore I would enjoy having my Grandpa eat dinner with me.

7. What is one thing you must accomplish today?

I must accomplish getting pictures added to a jump drive, because I'm delivering them to a client tomorrow after my cd/dvd player stopped working and I couldn't get the photos all uploaded to smugmug.  It's taken over 4 days to get 160 pictures loaded to smugmug.  Dang!

8.  Insert your own random thought here.

I'm trying to decide what to do with a broken cd/dvd player in my Mac Book Pro.  I primarily use it to make cds for my clients filled with photos and sometimes to listen to music.   Option A: Fix it which will be $129 plus $ for the part.  Option B:  Buy an external cd/dvd player  ($60) and use that.  Option C: Use jump drives for my clients and not get anything fixed or buy anything.  Commments?

ooh, your PInterest party sounds like fun! As far as your computer dilemma goes, I would go with an external cd/dvd player - seems cheaper, but more professional and easier to use than the jump drives. Just my opinion! :-) Have a great day!
