Did a little hiking today. Hiked up Little Mt. Si. The first lookout was at Rattlesnake Ledge. Didn't see any rattlesnakes, yes!
It was 2.2 miles to the summit, according to the trail head, yet many of the websites I've looked at have said the whole trip was 4 or 5 miles. It was a great trip and I didn't die and had no trouble breathing. It was not too hot and had some cloud cover, so there was no sun burn happening. The elevation gain was 1200ft. and at the highest point we hit was 1576ft.
The climb was steep at times, but there were parts of leveled climbing as well. The trail has many sharp rocks and at times I had to use my hands to help me climb over some boulders, yet I'm so glad I went, because the view was amazing.
I'm interested to see how well my muscles are doing tomorrow. I'm a little sore now (mostly my knees)...but tomorrow will be more telling.
