The Hiatus Over

After not going to the Puyallup fair in over 20 years, I finally went. The last time I went was when my whole family and the Frank family all piled in one car (9 of us) and drove down to Puyallup and went. I had been sick all day and didn't feel well, but I was going to try and rally. Well it didn't work, I felt sick the whole time and just wanted to go home. I don't think the rides were a really good idea either, but oh well. So for me, really, the fair has never been a place I've wanted to go back to. (Plus I'm not really into rides or crowded places, so all I'd go and do is eat and walk around)
But this year, I ended up going. Thought maybe if I tired it again, it would be better. Plus I got in free with a ticket from the school. So yesterday morning we were off to the fair. Lucky for us there was no rain and it was even pretty warm. We started the morning off looking at all the wonderful booth selling stuff no one REALLY needs and then had our first food, a krusty pup. Then it was more walking around and into the barns to see the animals

and then Philly cheese steak for me and an earthquake burger

for him. More walking around and then it was time for a beer and a ride on the Sky Ride.

More walking and a vanilla ice cream cone. And then we ended the day with deep fried twix. It was soo yummy!

We left just as the rain was rolling in. Lucky us!
Overall it wasn't that bad and I think my dislike for the fair is a little lessend, but I really don't know when I will be going back.

Looks like you had fun!!! I wasn't ever a huge fair fan until I saw the fair through Nelia's eyes. Sounds corny, but she loved it so much, which made me love it:)
