I love this season and I love watching it, but for the past few Friday, Saturdays, and Sundays I've been busy and the next ones coming up will be the same. Boo!
But this Sunday I was home around 4 to watch some of the action. It has been fun, but when I went to watch the last game of the night touted as the Manning Bowl, I was shut down. My tv wasn't picking up the signal for NBC. It has been that way for awhile, but I thought for some reason that it would come in today, but nope. I spent a half hour moving my rabbit ears all over the gosh darn place and it still wasn't working. ABC, yes! CBS, yes! PBS, yes! CWTV, yes! Fox, yes! But no NBC!! I was sad!
So I went online and checked to see where the signal was coming in and my rabbit ears were set in the correct spots, but still nothing. Next I thought, well maybe I could check out NBC and they could tell me something I could try, but what I found was even better. They were live broadcasting the game! YEAH!!! I'm so excited! I love it!! Now if they could just live broadcast their whole network for free life would be wonderful!
-just an FYI I'm in two different leagues online. One through yahoo, where you pick one team to win each week and the other through ESPN where you pick the winner of each game each week. So far I'm 2 for 2 on yahoo and my last week record for ESPN was 10 and 6, but this week so far I'm 7 for 7. Come on Colts and Saints. I would love to have picked 9 this week! Maybe next year I'll actually do the whole draft thing and get a fantasy team.
