Today is National Doughnut Day and although I'm not going to participate in it, as I just found out I've gained way too much weight, you for sure should. They are a delightful treat. My favorite used to be the maple bar, but during high school it changed. After many late start mornings down at Redondo and late nights at friends...I found a new doughnut that I adore. It's old fashioned and glazed. It's not too big, not too small, it's just right and oh man is it delicious with a glass of milk.
PS How is doughnut really spelled? Doughnut? Donut? Comments?
