Zac Brown Band

I'm not a concert goer, which makes it even more crazy that I went to 2 concerts in 1 week. This weekend, GA and I went over to the Gorge and saw Zac Brown Band. I have loved them also from the beginning.  It was my first time at the Gorge and it was amazing.  On our drive over we saw this! Crazy.  Someone had been hunting.

We got to tailgate in 2 different spots, got right into the venue, and got right out at the end (thanks to plaza parking) The weather was amazingly warm all day long.
The first place we tailgated was just a staging area to get us down to the next area.  We checked in via fb and then watched our neighbors bust out a game with throwing rings and boxes to throw them in.  Another neighbor grilled up some burgers on a hibatchie.
Then we were off to our next stop.

Our parking pass got us right down to the venue! And we got to tailgate right in front of it.

My first view of the venue.

We chose to sit up in the GA spot, but we did have seats in row 13...couldn't imagine being that close and standing the whole time.  I'm much more a lay back and listen to the songs, dance a bit, and sing along.

Yummy food. Chicken quesadilla $9

The opening act was okay. A little too rock for me.

The night was warm and never really cooled enough to put on my sweatshirt. :-) And even when the wind picked up, it was a warm wind.

For the second set, they set up the stage like a living room and then played all acoustic songs. And although we were in a huge venue, it felt like we were in a living room or small bar with them.
