Workin-It-Out and CrossFit-in-It

After completing Bloomsday with a big huge blister on my foot, I decided I should take to the pool.  On Tuesday I swam 30 min, which equaled 24 laps.  I spoke with the ladies in the locker room and found out that 36 laps was a mile, so that was my goal for the next day.  So on Wednesday I swam the 36 laps in 45 min.  I was pretty impressed, although towards the end it felt like I was swimming in chocolate and wasn't really moving at all. Thank goodness I was able to finish.  I was also very thankful that I didn't crack my head anytime I was doing the backstroke.  One time I cracked my arm, which hurt, but thankfully didn't produce any bruising.

Today I was back to the WOD.

20 Walking Lunges (R/L=1)
15 Squats
10 pushups

Finish: close to 20 min.

I did this WOD outside on the side of my apartment today becasue I was too lazy to drive to the gym and my hallway was too narrow and short.  It worked well, but I did a lot of watching the grounds keepers as I was working out.

Tomorrow...maybe back to the pool.
