Wednesday Hodgepodge Vol. 115
1. When were you last facing an ocean? Using just ONE word, describe how you felt as you faced that ocean.
I was last at the ocean last week, while I was in Hawaii. As I faced the ocean all I felt was "Aaaaahhh" I'm home.
2. What are three sounds you hate to hear?
The screeching of nails on the chalkboard, people whinning, and the sound of someone throwing up.
3. This question comes to you courtesy of some real life friends. Hi real life friends! When you shop for yourself, do you try everything on in the store before buying or do you buy, try on at home, and then return what you don't like or what doesn't fit?
I HATE returning things, sometimes it even makes it cries, therefore I'm for sure a tryer-oner before I buy.
4. February 26th is National Pistachio Day...are you a fan of the little green nut? Do you use them in cooking and baking or prefer to eat them right out of the shell?
I enjoy the green nut and have eaten them for a almost all my life. The best way to eat them for me is right out of the shell.
5. When did you last have to compromise with someone? Were you happy to reach the compromise or slightly irritated it was necessary?
Compromising happens all the time at work when we are teaching and things don't happen the way I think they are going to happen. I roll with the punches.
6. Have you ever written a letter to an elected official? Did you get a response?
Nope.
7. We 'March' into a new month at the end of this week...what's something on your March calendar guaranteed to make you smile?
I have a three day weekend and i'm going to see my nieceroo and nephew. I can't wait to see them and find out where there new hiding places are.
8. Insert your own random thought here.
Going back to work after vacation is hard, but even harder is adjusting to the weather again. I loved being warm and in shorts and tshirts all the time. Now it's back to sweaters and scarves. Boo! Hiss!

I'm with you on the sweaters and scarves-boo! We have snow in the forecast for tomorrow. So not excited about that.
I missed getting to your post last week, but better late than never, right?
