So we packed everything and everyone up and went to start Blue and he did nothing. We tried to start it with a few generators and then decided to just jump it. Once we jumped Blue, he started right away. Thank goodness! We stopped and got gas,
drinks
and headed out to Ocean Shores. Upon arrival we found a pretty damp campsite,
but the sun came out
and dried a bunch of it up. We set everything up
and then headed out to the beach.
We came back and cooked some food hung out around the fire.
The following morning we loaded everything up again and tried to start the car again and yet again nothing.
So this times the Park Rangers came and jumped us. We drove out of town and thought well maybe we should look into getting a new battery. Along the drive we stopped and got it checked and the guy at the Napa store said the battery was charging low, but that is about it. So we kept driving and when we hit the Astoria bridge we had a picnic lunch.
Then headed over the bridge and into Warrenton, where we stopped at Auto Zone. Jesus checked out my battery and found that it was dead, so I bought a new battery! Thank goodness Jesus could put it in for us. We also did a short stop at Costco, as I had broken the door on the blow up bed we had just bought before the trip started and needed a replacement. (So far, I was having an amazing trip!)
