Timing is Everything

Last weekend we went to Applebees (THE NEW ONE IN KENT!) and tried to have lunch. We arrived at Applebees (THE NEW ONE IN KENT!) and were seated right away. The place was packed. It took a while before the the waitress came over at (THE NEW ONE IN KENT!) and when she finally did, she took our drink order. We received our beer and water promptly, but then waited a bit for her to come back and get our order. She did and as we waited, I noticed the manager was talking to many of the other patrens at (THE NEW ONE IN KENT!) They were upset about their waits. We waited and waited and finally she came back on got us another beer and more water, but we still had no food.
At 45 min. in, I was DONE waiting. I was PISSED and ready to go. I tried to stare her down to get her to come over, but she never did, so I approached her at the register (with her manager present) and asked for the check and told her we were done waiting and just wanted the bill. The manager asked what table we were at, but never made it over to us. We got the check shortly there after, but no apology from the manager.
We headed over to Red Robin and were seated and had drinks and food within 10 min. Plus the food was amazing!!!!!
While we were there, he got a phone call wondering if we wanted to come and sit in a suite for the Hockey game that night in about an hour. Obviously it was a no brainier. We finished our food and then headed to Showare and watched the Seattle T-birds beat Everett 5-2 up in the super sweet comfy seats. It was a great game made even better by the seats and quick beer service!
