The Rest of My Day

Although I picked the word in the morning, Wonderful, it ended up being a great word to describe the rest of my birthday. Flowers were dropped of at my door as well as many different people wished me a happy birthday through texts, phone messages, and facebook.

My parents took me out to lunch at

and then we had some Cold Stone Creamery for dessert. I'm such a lucky girl!

I came home to more well wishes and then got to spend some time with another friend. Although a movie and a walk were planned, the sun had tucked itself away a wee bit earlier, so we ended up having dinner and just enjoying each others company. (That makes me sound so old!- Well I guess I am another year older)

My house is now filled with flowers

and cards adorn the hearth of my fireplace. I'm content with the year that has passed and all the things I've accomplished, but I'm ready to go into this year with more vigor, more tenacity, more gumption, and just more. I'm tired of having enough, I want MORE!!!

-at least it sounds good!
