I'm oh so glad to live where I live right now! Although we had 3 late start days in December, 1 in January, and 2 missed days of school because of snow and ice, we are now back at school.
I'm oh so glad, that I don't live in Spokane, which has been pummeled with snow, where teachers and students missed two days of school before their Winter break and just made it back to school today, meaning they missed three more after break was supposed to be over.
I'm oh so glad, that I don't live in Sumner, where schools are being evacuated because of flooding meaning they will too have missed 3 days, as of today.
I'm oh so glad, that this winter so far has only subtracted 2 days of my summer break, but I also realize that winter just started.
