Saturday was jam packed. Tanya was a vendor at Lokai, so Tish and I showed up at 9 am to help her set up and get ready to sell her photos and cards. It booth went up really smoothly and she had a lot of people stop by and look at her photography. Even my grandma liked it, even though she thought it was my stuff she was looking at.
We also performed at Lokahi, so right around 12:45 we left the booth to go and get ready for the show. I was doing 2 numbers this time and did well. I remembered most of my dance moves and didn't step on my dress...must mean it's too short ;) It was the first time that my bil, sis, leia, and grandma had seen me perform with my halau. They had rave reviews. It was a little nerve racking performing for them, so I made sure not to look in their direction. Everyone told me they were waving at me.
Later that night my family took in Kama's game. I took pictures down on the field after we cheered ridiculously loud for him sporting our "We heart Kama" t-shirts.
Throughout the game the football seemed to follow me wherever I was standing. It was like Kama was playing catch with me. The sad thing was that I wasn't suited up and on the field. One of the passes hit the ground and then bounced up and hit my leg. It hurt a little and continued to hurt throughout the game. After I came home, I found a big black and blue welt on my leg. I iced it and the swelling went down a little. This morning it was an even darker color. ooh, now I have super sexy legs.Today I just hung out, watched some football, took a nap, and went and saw my sis and niece up at the parents house.
