Last night the stadium that Ruth built held it's very last game after 85 years of grander. It has seen the likes of many Hall of Famers, boasted many titles, and hosted the most World Series games.
The final win went to Andy Pettitte with Derek Jeter being the final Yankee to bat in the bottom of the 8th. He grounded out to third. The last home run went to Jose Molina. It was a great way to end the era in baseball with a win against the Orioles.
I am sad that I never made it out to the stadium. I guess I should have went on my baseball tour sooner, but I guess I will now have the opportunity to see the new one.
