Awesome!

Yesterday I participated in the Art Walk in Kent. It was the first time I had a booth anywhere and formally got my name out there for others to see my photos and meet me. It was a little scary at the start. I was nervous. I was worried it wouldn't go very well. It was hard to sell myself, which is crazy because I never had problems selling anything else before, but once I watched Tish sell me to other people it was a little bit easier to get out there and talk to people about me and my work.
The Art Walk for me was really just to get my name out there and to give my friends and family an opportunity to come and see my photos that I've had up at Heartbeat Yoga. I ended up booking a senior shoot and a baptism/baby shoot. The second of those shoots is happening tomorrow. How crazy!?!?! I sold $30 in cards and sold 4 prints, with a possibility of one of the framed prints in Heartbeat. YEAH! YEAH!
I look forward to doing more, but think I'll wait for a few months while school gets underway, hula slows down, and the photo shoots let up a little. I can't have two full time jobs, I would have no time for a life.



Thank you so much Tanya and Tish for helping me out. You girls are amazing. I don't know what I would have done without you two. Thanks for being there for me. I can't wait for Lokahi, Tanya. You are going to love it and hopefully it helps you to fall back in love with something that use to give you so much joy. I'm so glad that we have each other. Tish, my business has benefited so much from your constant encouragement. I am so blessed to have you in my life. And to all of you who came and supported me last night, it means the world to me. I hope I'm able to continue to live up to all the hype you continue to generate for me.
