No More Waiting, But Still A Little Bitter

Okay, okay so I have bitter herbs. I need to just let it go, but it is hard when you want to be some place on a specific day and then you don't end up getting there until almost the last possible moment. Okay, so it wasn't the last possible moment, but it sure felt like it. I got to spend lots of quality time with a "wonderful" person this past week, that would be if you didn't follow the lines, I read some books (2 and started a 3rd), and got some much needed sun. But when you want to be spending time with friends for the last time before you start school, it's kind of poopy.
I will say though, that my car is fixed and with a new transmission made it over to Spokane and back. I was sweatin it coming up Vantage, but the car did just fine. It is driving a little differently, but I guess it is something I just have to "get used to" as Doug at AAMCO would say. He was the gentleman that helped me to stay with AAMCO by calling around to other shops to get estimates and then miraculously, coming in with a bid under all of them as well as reminding me time and time again that this was a big overhaul with my car, a job you wanted done right not a job just d-o-n-e!
So I'm headed off to Cathlamet on Tuesday to test it again. Cross your fingers I make it home.
