The surprises for Aunty Sweetie didn't end on Friday at Relay for Life. She was surprised once again with a 50th birthday celebration, that she thought she was throwing for herself at Grand Buffet in Dupont for Tuesday (her real birthday), but in reality Uncle Randy and my hula sister Tanya planned and with the help of all us at halau pulled off a surprise party for her at Norpoint Center yesterday. Here is what she looked like when she first walked in.
The she realized that the party was for her and didn't want to come in.
It took a lot of coxing.
She did finally come in and was showerd with many lei. Check back for more pictures later.

Sounds so awesome. i have an idea for a blog. before and currect pics of you. i saw a pic of you before the weight loss the other day and thought 'daamn, you've come a long way'. love you. i think we're coming home father's day weekend for mel's grad. party.
Thanks for the help on blog ideas, sister. I haven't had any recent pics of how I look, but hopefully soon I will get some. There are a few from the last couple of events, but I would like to get some full body ones. Hopefully we'll see you guys this weekend. Congrats on Leia crawling.
I just linked over from Tanya's blog. Her and I played volleyball for years and me and my family were there to help her celebrate!! We love us some Sweetie!! Can't wait to see more pics of her surprise party. :)
