Is It All About The Shirt?

One of the best parts about Bloomsday is getting the T-shirt at the end. The color and design of it is veiled in secrecy until after the race has started. Then and only then, can the volunteers, who are passing them out, open the boxes to unveil the color and design of the shirt.
It's always a great debate as to what color the shirts will be and what type of design will be on it. My guess for this year was red from the very beginning. Then when we went and picked up our numbers and saw that the volunteer shirts were brown, I changed my guess to orange. (The volunteer shirts were brown-I thought brown and orange go together better.)
As we walked up to where we were supposed to be starting, we passed some of the Kenyans', who had already finished the race and we hadn't even started, and they had red shirts! I was super excited. I had guessed right. Although I didn't need another red shirt, I will wear it with pride as I am a finisher of Bloomsday.

Good job guessing red!
No one in our group guessed red.
I was thinking along the lines of some shade of blue.
