The Garage Sale Season Has Started

This year I am not looking for anything, because I have so much stuff already, but I went a long with my mom to see what I could see. I found a new rug for the winter, a bucket to hold cold beer on the porch, and a toothbrush. Then I hit pay dirt.

I had been looking at new furniture and there was a loveseat that pulled out to a single bed. It was perfect and the guy only wanted $10 (he'd been drinking from his kegerator) I told him I had no way to get it to Kent, but he said for a small fee he would deliver...maybe. I told him I would give him $35 for the loveseat and delivery and he said sold, until his wife came along. She just gave him a stern look and we were off. I was excited and he was going to deliver. He and his buddy loaded it and me into their truck and we were off to my house from Lakeland Hills.

I was slightly nervous, but they were pretty funny guys. Got to my house dumped me and my new loveseat off and that was that. It took awhile to find it's home, but now it is good to go and ready to be used.

Note-I was not harmed in the getting of my loveseat, nor was it a rash or crazy decision to jump in a truck with two men I had just met and drive with them for over 30 min. back to my house. My mom and dad were following us the whole way. *wink*
