It was so nice to see everyone again and spend some time catching up. Our two hosts did a wonderful job of making us feel at home and with all the food we brought, we could have stayed there forever, especially with milk delivery every Friday.
The group started after a summer day in which Lindsay and I had spent in Shelley's old backyard with Shelley discussing the lack of a group for young, single ladies through our church. It was there that this group of young ladies was formed. We, as a group and personally, have gone through many changes over the years and have been there for each other throughout them. It is amazing how you never knew you were missing something in your life until it shows up and you can't imagine your life without it. I am so glad to have these wonderful ladies in my life and couldn't imagine what my life would have turned out like without them.
Here is our morning walk, before we left. There was a bit of rain coming down.
When we got to be too much, Mr. Ski retired to the porh and worked on some important documents.

I LOVE how you can totally see the word "BASEBALL" on the screen. It's a real important document there... :)
