Snow, Snow and More Snow

There is so much, I just don't understand where it keeps coming from. It started in the North and the South and it feels like it is converging in Kent. It has snowed buckets here so far. I, so, don't want to miss anymore days. I am hoping for two hour late start but by looking at the snow we are getting and with the temperature supposedly only getting up to 17 or 18 degrees it seems like it will be sticking around for a long time. Oh, how glad I am!?!?!

The more craziness about this, is after school today I headed up to Bellevue to see a friend. The whole way up, I was really contemplating just turning around because I was listening to all the accidents that were happening up north and I was scared. I could also see off in the distance that it was already snowing on the mountains and looked like it was making it's way to Bellevue. I was in Bellevue for about 45 min. and then it started to snow. I told my friend that I had to leave and I was in my car and driving over white covered roads. It lasted for about 10 minutes of my drive and then it was dry. As I continued down 405, it started again in the Renton S-curves, but then stopped at the interchange of 167. It was smooth sailing after that. I was home for an hour before it started snowing here. I turned on the news and was in shock of what the road I had just travelled on looked like now. They were completely white and cars were stuck all over them. Thank goodness I got home.

Here is a picture of the road that runs behind the golf course.

Snow again for the PNW... wow. We also have been having tons of snow. Some our drifts are about 10 feet high.... fun fun fun. Walking to work is a workout all in itself... shoveling snow to get out the front door, then walking through drifts up to your waist. Oh well.... aerobic excercise.
