I Got Picked!

I got the amazing opportunity with my school this week and was able to go and check out  2 schools in the Seattle area that were putting on amazing after school programs and seeing great results.  I actually go the email about signing up a long time ago, but I thought it was something I needed to be picked for.  Well lucky me I got picked! That is when I found out all the amazing things that came along with it.  My own room at an amazing hotel downtown Seattle with a king size bed and we even got to fly over to Seattle!!! Nuts-o!!! Never thought I would get to go on this trip.  We took the first flight out Monday morning.   Some of us were way early, some were right on time, and someone left her license at home and had to have their husband go and get it. We all waited for each other, which then put us on the plane with 5 min. before they closed the door.  We giggled and laughter tho whole way down the aisle, because of course my principal and I were in the second to last seat of the plane!  The flight was pretty quick, but right before we got there on the decent, I started to get a little woozy and was ready to puke.  My principal got up to get me bag and got yelled at by the stewardess for being out of her seat until she found out I just needed a bag to throw up in.  Thankfully as soon as I got the bag, the wave of nausea passed and I was all better.
After getting our car (a red tahoe) we went to our first school in West Seattle.  Then we headed to Seattle U and then to the last school.  When we finally finished at 5pm after being up since 4:45am... we were ready for dinner and sometime to unwind and debrief.  Our flight was the next morning at 10 am. We got up and got to the airport in time to have breakfast or so we thought.  It took a bit longer to get our food, so we ended up scarfing it down and even taking some with us before we got on the death trap of a plane! Where we giggled all the way home!

But we got on the death trap instead!
