Wednesday Hodgepodge Vol. 166

1. Do you have an interest in learning about your family's heritage? Why or why not? If you know a little bit about your roots, share an interesting piece of trivia or a fun fact about someone who goes way back on your family tree.

I would love to learn more about my heritage.  My parents have done a great job of keeping it alive for my sister and I as we grew up and I would love to keep looking into it as I grow older. I love hearing the old stories of how my grandpa and grandma's family survived through the depression in Montana and how the other side of my family lived and worked in Hawaii as it became a state.

2. Branch Rickey, the baseball exec credited with signing Jackie Robinson, is quoted as saying-

"Luck is the residue of design."

Agree or disagree? Why?

Don't really understand it..so I guess I will have to abstain from the question.

3. In the town where you currently reside, what's your favorite green space?

The golf course that my place sits on.  It's constantly green filled with evergreen and currently blooming cherry trees that are pink.  

4. Who is your favorite comedian?

I really don't follow many comedians let alone do I know many…I used to really enjoy Sinbad (when I was a small kid) Then there is a Philippino comedian, Auggie T, who is pretty hilarious.  

I also really like this girl, Anjelah Johnson and her nail salon.

5. March is National Nutrition Month, and almost everyone needs to improve their diet in some way.  What about you? How can you improve your nutrition on a daily basis? Will you try?

My diet is pretty good.  I do meal replacement shakes from Herbal Life  for breakfast and lunch and for dinner I do some sort of meat with veggies. I have some snacks throughout the day (fruit and nuts) and lots and lots of water. This month I'm giving up cookies and ice cream.

6. Which of these green expressions have you 'experienced' in recent weeks -green with envy, green thumb, green around the gills, or give the green light? Explain.

I for sure have been "green around the gills" lately.  I've been super nauseous.  NO! I'm not pregnant. It has to do with the mucus that is draining down into my tummy and making my tummy not feel well.

7. Where is one place you don't mind waiting? 

I don't mind waiting in my bed for the day to begin.  I don't mind waiting on the beach for time to pass.  I don't mind waiting at outside when the sun is out and it's blue sky.

This week has been super crazy busy. I've been home late each night.  School has been keeping me late and I still have work to be done.  I'm excited for Friday. NO kids and time to work in my classroom.  Yeah! I hope to get a lot done.
I also hope that I'm able to get some good training in.
