Wednesday Hodgepodge #168

1. March is known as the windy month. Which of the following phrases best fits your March so far...'throw caution to the wind', 'three sheets to the wind', 'run like the wind', or 'see which way the wind blows'?

Run like the Wind was my motto for March as I've been training for a marathon that will finally commence on April 5th. I'm ready for it to happen as I'm kind of done training, because it seems to be all that I do.

2. Your favorite green food? Your favorite dish made with your favorite green food?

Hmm, there's lettuce, celery, broccoli, cucumbers, spinach, pesto, kiwi, avocado, peppers, lima beans, asparagus, peas…

I think I will have to go with avocados and guacamole.  Mmmmmmh, it makes me want to make some now.  Although, I do have one other green thing that my aunt made and has passed the recipe down to me.  It is 7Up Cake, with pistachio pudding, which then makes it green.
3. Ever been locked out of your home-car-office-anywhere? Do tell!

Yah, it's happened to me once or twice.  The latest time I got locked out, it was a total accident.  A friend and I were going out for a walk and I grabbed a key, walked out the door of my apartment, and my friend pulled the door closed.  Right away, I figured out that I had the wrong key.  No phone, no money.  I walked down to my apartment managers and found out that they were out of town and the acting manager was down at his job, a bar. 

So we walked down to his bar just to find out that he was up North and on a Friday during high traffic time and he wasn't going to be back for over an hour.  

We decided to have some beers while we waited and then when he came back into town we were able to go and get my real keys and some money to pay the bar back.  

Over 2 hours later he was back and we were able to get into my place and get some money to pay our bill.

I prefer Yoda as he was so smart, even though he was hard to understand.

True.  In being a leader you need to keep hope alive, so that everyone knows what they are working for, striving for, and needing to complete.  If they don't know what they are working towards it's hard to give your all.

7. What's a road trip you'd like to take?

I would like to take a road trip around the US visiting all the MLB stadiums.  I have already started and have seen the West Coast teams, but now it's time to head East and see the East Coast and Mid-West teams.
