Wednesday Hodgepodge Vol. 148

1. What's something you're dealing with that might be described as tricky?

I'm currently dealing with a work situation that is tricky. I'm friends with both sides that aren't getting along and I find it tricky to be in the middle.

2.  What's your treat of choice?

Ice cream and homemade cookies! But I also love hard candy, gum, popcorn, and milkshakes (because

3. Did you/will you carve a jack-o-lantern this month? Which real (living or dead) or fictional 'Jack' would you most like to meet in person? Why?

No pumpkin carving this month for me. I love carving, but I hate cleaning them out, so I decline unless I'm forced!

4.  In your opinion, what's the grossest sounding word in the English language?

There are two, but I've gotten used to them. (wink, wink)  I used to not tell people what they were because then they used them incessantly.  One of the words is moist and the other word is panties and used together the words are even grosser.

5. When did your heart last skip a beat?

My heart skipped a beat last when I was thanked in a speech for being someone's best friend.

6. Monster Mash by Bobby 'Boris' Picket, Michael Jackson's Thriller, Werewolves of London by Warren Zevon, or Ray Parker Jr.'s Ghostbusters...your favorite 'scary' tune?

Ghostbusters for sure.

7.   It was a dark and stormy night when___I was sitting inside my house, curled up in my pajamas, under my blanket with a roaring fire going in my fireplace.  I was sipping my hot coco reading a book.

8.  Insert your own random thought here.

I'm so not excited! Anyone, anyone but the Red Sox!!! Come on Cardinals!  (I'm watching the World Series.  The Red Sox are currently working on winning their last game and the Series as a whole.  I'm so not happy about this, because by being a Yankees fan, I can't root for the Sox ever and they are winning!

That last game was tough to watch. Especially the first four innings-wow. It felt like they were just rolled over. Oh well, there's always next year! I live in Yankees country, but am not a Yankees fan. shhh...don't tell my neighbors : ) I grew up in the Phila. suburbs so I always root for the Phillies.
