Parting is Such Sweet Sorrow

Tomorrow, I will back at it again for my 9th year of teaching. Well, I will actually just be sitting through meetings.  Kids show up on Thursday.) It's crazy how fast time goes by- teaching and summer.  Sadly, my bff will not be there to navigate the waters with me, she got a new job!
She will be moving back down the grade levels and into a full day Kindergarten position in Selah.  I will miss her, but am also totally super excited for her and what she is going to be able to do this year.  I hope she has a fantastic year with her kiddos and doesn't get tired of tying shoes and wiping snotty noses.
A few weeks ago, I threw her a going away party.  Everyone came to my house with a potluck item in hand ready to laugh and share stories of summer, Nalley, and the fact that we were all going to miss her.
I used my magnetic boards to put up pictures of all the different things Nalley and I have done.
