and I certainly did, especially with only one in-sole in my shoe. Needless to say after the 2 hours I walked (7pm and 12midnight) I was done.
This year was our 6th annual year of doing Relay for Life. Over the years our team has grown and changed, but each year we are fighting for the same thing. NO MORE CANCER. Thankfully the weather cooperated and shared with us a bright blue sky and sunshine for most of the walk and then once the night set in, we had beautiful stars. We walked and talked and had a great old time. This year we celebrated and honored over 30 people from our group alone that beat cancer or past away from it.
After my walking was done. I blew up my queen air mattress and went to bed in my car. Oh, how I love my car and having enough room for everything plus me.
Next year's shirts are going to ask not why we relay, but how we relay. Mine is going to say, "I Re-leid all day and all night long" Another friend's will be "I Re-leid Hard" Anyone else can think of others?
