Wednesday Hodgepodge

1. What are your plans for Easter? Are you cooking a big lunch or dinner?  Dyeing eggs? Attending a sun rise service?  Eating too much chocolate?

I'm headed over the mountains to see my sister and her family.  We will head out to the Long's (family friends) house for a massive egg hunt after church and possibly eating some candy and for sure some deviled eggs.

2.  What is something you feel too young to do?

Too young to buy a house.

3.  "Love is patient, love is kind.  It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud...it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs..."

Of the characteristics mentioned in the biblical definition of love which do you find most difficult to live out and why?

I find it really hard to let go of things, especially when I feel wronged.  I know it takes a lot of energy to keep anger up, but it is also hard to let go.

4. What's a springtime flower you associate with your childhood?

Daffodils for sure and tulips.

5.  Ever sung karaoke? If so, what's your go-to song? If not and you're given the opportunity, would you?

I'm a huge fan of karaoke...from my table. I don't like being up on stage, but I will sing along from my table.  Although one day, they did get me up on the stage and I sang "Tyrone" by Eryka Badu.  Since, I have sang some more, but not many.

6. What is something you keep in a basket?

I keep my mail, bras, odds and ends all in baskets. Different ones for sure.

7.  When was the last time you felt foolish?

I feel foolish at least once a day.  I want to be seen as put together and with it, yet at least one time day I'm doing something that breaks that.

8.  Insert your own random thought here.
