And if you don't know the back story, here is the short of it. My phone was stolen out of a car, back in October, while I was at a football game. I came home, called my carrier using Rile's phone, and they told me I could get a new phone for free, I just had to pick it out. I hated all the phones that were unsmart (aka didn't have a data plan) and were free, so I decided to use my old phone for a bit until I could figure out what to do. In the long run (aka 24 hours) my old phone was too old for me (didn't put the text messages into conversations), so Riles let me borrow his old phone. I got a free SIM card from my carrier, then was on my way...just to find out that the phone I was now using was actually now a smart phone (although it wasn't when Riles had it) and it needed a data plan. So I used it until until my carrier figured out it was a smart phone and didn't have a data plan, which was yesterday.
So today I went up to my carrier's store and told my story and got a new phone. It is still unmsart, but it's one that I actually liked. I hope I still like it in a week or two. It is a Go phone, but I put my SIM card in it and I'm good to go, plus it looks like a blackberry, so I can be cool like everyone else.
