Wednesday Hodgepodge

1.  In what ways do you indulge yourself?

Aaahhhh, with pedicures, massages (once a month), a house cleaner (once a month), and frozen yogurt.

2.  Have you ever taken a cooking class?  Any interest?  What type of class would you most like to try?

No cooking classes for me and really no interest, although when a friend went to New Oreleans, she took a cooking class and learned to make cajun food which might be fun.

3. What does it mean to be a good citizen?

A good citizen is someone who is civic minded, follows the letter of the law, and takes part in making the world a better place.

4.  'Tis the season of the political advert...do these ads influence your vote?

They haven't influenced me, but it's interesting to see what each side comes up with to bash each other.

5.  What's something you see today that makes you wish you were a kid again?

I wish I was a kid again, when I see my kids being able to do whatever they want to do and I have to do all the work.

6.  What's your least favorite cliche?

....

7.  What percentage of your Christmas shopping has been completed?  How does that make you feel?

None and I'm totally okay with it.  I may have to get on it soon, as we may be celebrating with my sister's family during Thanksgiving rather than on real Christmas.  I'm also going to Vegas in December, so I will have less time during December.

8.  Insert your own random thought here.

School has been crazy as I get ready for Goal Setting Conferences and going to camp with the 6th graders (meaning I have to make 3 days of plans for my 5th graders)  When  I told them on Friday that I wouldn't be there, they were pretty upset.  I bribed them with a fun science project when I get back.  Hopefully that will work to get them to be good for the sub, we'll see.
