Wednesday Hodgepodge

 1. It's a brand new month...share one thing you're looking forward to in October.

That September is over.  It was a rough month personally, so I'm glad that October is here and also that I finally get to go to camp with the 6th graders.  I've only been waiting 7 years to go without teaching 6th grade.

2.  Is chivalry dead?  Explain.

I don't think it's dead, but it's for sure gone into obscurity.

3.  On October 2, 1950 the Peanuts comic strip made its debut.  Which character is your favorite?  Which character is most like you?  (Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus, Shroeder, Snoopy, Woodstock, or Pig Pen)  If you need a description click here .

I love Pig Pen and I'm pretty sure Lucy is most like me.

4.  What's something you're competitive about?

Competitive?!?!?!?   I'm not competitive...everything is for fun.  And if you didn't read that with all the sarcasm dripping off it, you don't know me.

5. October is National Popcorn Popping Month...are you a fan?  How do you like your popcorn?

Love popcorn! I wish I ate it more. Air popped is my favorite with butter, movie popcorn next.  My least favorite: burned!

6.  When did you first realize the world is small?

On a daily basis...my dad knew everyone who knew someone else, who knew someone else.  And working in the schools meeting a new set of kids (25-30)/ families every year, makes my world very small.

7.  In terms of architecture, what's the most beautiful building you've seen up close and in person?

I think it's the Cathedral at Notre Dame.  The lead glass and all the painting done on the ceiling is amazing.

8.  Insert your own random thought here.

Found her last night off of a friend's blog and am enjoying her all day.
