Wednesday Hodgepodge

1. ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL? The NFL is back in action along with all the college teams. Are you a fan? Who do you root for? If you're not a fan what do you do while the rest of America watches Saturday, Sunday, Monday night, and now Thursday night games?

I love Football! It really has become a sign of fall for me. I love to go, watch on tv, and even sometimes play (my college friends and I used to play the night of the first snowfall.) High school, college, and professional. I love it all.
Last year I had a fantasy team, but that really took away from loving the game as a whole. You are only rooting for certain players, not the whole team.

2. What's something I'll always find in your closet?

My dresser full of clothes. All my clothes are kept in my closet. They are clean and folded and ready to be worn, although I typically wear the same clothes.

3. Share one of your earliest memories.

My earliest memory is the day my sister was born. I was 3. My parents dropped me off with my Uncle at 7-11. I waved at them as I watched my parents drive away to the hospital.

4. What circus act best describes your week so far?

The 3 rings! It has been a complete circus with things going on in 3 different areas in my life. All needing my full attention and each only getting 1/3.

5. What's a food you disliked as a child but you love now?

I've liked all foods moslty, but I do go through some big trends. For instance there was a long time that I didn't eat peanut butter, but now I can't get enough of it. That is the same with carrots, waffles, and yogurt.

6. Describe your summer in three words.

Road Trip Travel

7. Where were you on September 11, 2001? Will you do anything special to mark the day this year?

Sept. 11, I was living in Birmingham, Alabama, working at a homeless shelter for women and children. It was crazy being so far away from my family as they were up in Washington.
This year I will teach my students about it and open up the discussion to talk about it, but it will be hard to talk to kids about something they weren't even alive for.

8. Insert your own random thought here.

A Bachelor Pad update: I love Nick! He did exactly what he should have done! He kept the money and Rachel got nothing. No money or man! Sad for her.
