So after a broken boat was fixed, our super secret date was on, although it was no longer secret as he had looked online and found out what I was up to.
We took a slow easy drive up to Anacortes, checked in and then headed down the boat launch. It was a gorgeous day and hardly any traffic! The boat showed up and we loaded. Lucky for us there was a set of two seats calling our name. We sat down and were off to see the spectacular views of Deception Pass during "sunset".
