Super Secret Date

So I had planned a super secret date, but found out this morning that the super secret date couldn't happen as the boat had broken the day before!!! Sad! (I have since rescheduled the date and it will happen and you will see pictures then.)


Therefore instead, we headed up north to St. Edward park. It used to be an old seminary and boasts 316 lush acres. It was full of hiking and biking trails. We decided to take a hike down to Lake Washington on the Seminary Trail and then come up on the Orchard Trail. It was a nice hike as it was under a bunch of trees and didn't ever get too hot. We then meandered home driving along Lake Washington's shore into Kirkland and then back into Kent. We had a nice pupu dinner at Mama Stortinis and then went and played a round of golf at Riverbend. Now although it wasn't the super secret date that I had planned it turned out to be a pretty wonderful day.
