All week, I've been preparing for this craft and finally (yesterday) everything came together. I first saw it on Pintrest and I was hooked.
I started looking for the tile first at Home Depot, but they only had shiny tile, so I headed to Lowes and found the tiles I needed (27 cents each). I also looked at Lowes for the Minwax Finishing Wax and found it to be $9.99, went back to Home Depot the following day and found it to be a dollar cheaper, so I bought it there. Then it was on to the stamp pad. First I looked at Joann and found out they were $9.99 (whoo, expensive), then I went to the Scrapbook store and it was only $8.99. Yeah, saved a dollar! Was kind of worried about the color, couldn't decide if black or pumpkin or rusty brown would look the best. I went with black. Then it was off to the Dollar Store to get the pads to go on the back of the coasters.
Then I started the washing, stamping, waxing, and the padding.
