HWY 101 Day 5

We got up and moving early this morning as we were making a 4 hour (which most of the drive lengths were that long) to Crescent City, Ca with a stop at Bandon Beach. Bandon Beach is a famous beach where they taped Budweiser commercials with the clydesdale.
As we first got there, there was a ship that was coming into port.

They put down that little boat to help guide the big ship in. Then we did a little walk down the beach, stopping to take pictures, point out the jelly fish and what would have to happen if you were stung by one, and then we saw a seahawk.

After a lunch break, we continued on our drive down the coast and happened upon these old dinosaurs.

and then continued on to our last stop, Crescent City, Ca and the Curly Redwood Lodge, built out of ONE Curly Redwood Cedar.

There we got a sweet Suite with beds for everyone and even a separate bedroom.

We also got our own parking covered parking spot.

Mcdonalds was dinner that night, as we were tired of pulling everything in and out of the car. We all really just needed showers and bed.
