Wednesday Hodgepodge

1. What's something you miss about the 1980's? If you're too young to miss the 80's how about the 90's?

I miss the innocence on tv shows. There were never bad words said, sexual innuendo was held to a minimum, kids on shows were able to be kids and not dressed up to look sexy. Now, the raunchier a tv show, the more people watch. It's disgusting.

2. Do you have a library card? If so, how often do you visit?

I have a library card and even have my card number memorized, so I don't have to use it when I check books out. Does that make me a nerd? I tend to visit it more during the summer, as that is when I have time to read, because during the school year I'm totally busy.

3. What's the secret to success?

There's a secret? Can someone share it with me? The secret to success is perseverance because you can't be successful if you don't go after your goals and never quit.

4. This is National Backyard Games week...what's your favorite backyard game?

Family volleyball! with a close runner up of crochet and badminton.

5. If I dropped by today what would I find on your coffee table?

A glass plate with candles, a few magazines, some thank you cards that should have been delivered in February, and a container with coasters. There are a few things under the top of it on the shelves, but not very much.
I like my stuff in it's place and everything has it's place.

6. Do you own a bicycle? When was the last time you rode a bicycle? Is that something you enjoy?

I don't own my own bicycle, but I'm currently borrowing a friends. I love it. Riding with the wind rushing through my hair and the bugs smacking into my glasses. The morning is the best time to ride before everyone is out on the roads and the bunnies hope along the road as you ride by.

7. What's your favorite cheese?

Cheese! Mmmmmmmmmmh! My favorite is Havarti melted on french bread, but it's soo fattening! I typically do medium Colby or mild cheddar.

It's the start of Camping Season! I can't wait...leaving tomorrow and hoping there is no rain! Please pray!
