3rd Annual Camping Trip

It started over 3 years ago and so far we've had a wonderful time each year. Lucky us! Each year we've gone to different places throughout the state. This year we ended up at Little Naches in the Wenatchee National Forest (close to Yakima) with a whole new group of people. Everyone brought their own food and we tried to devour it all, but I kind of feel we brought home as much as we took, foodwise that is, alcoholwise not so much. Because we booked all the way back in February we got a choice spot, right by the river, which was amazing until the wind picked up on Sunday and we couldn't get warm, even when we were sitting in the sun, so we decided to make a run into Yakima for some Miners (burgers)

We ran out of cooler room to keep the alcohol cool, so one of the campers set up a cooler in the river. He built a little damn to collect water and filled it with the beverages of choice.

Sitting around the fire and reading was one of the favorite activities, although I didn't get a photo of it. Here is what it looked like with no people.

And another one was taking walks and exploring. One of the places we found was a fish ladder.

While Riles and I were taking a walk, we walked upon this waterfall. It was so cool, you could totally walk right up to it.

Next year I think we may be back, we had that much fun....and hopefully we'll have more people pictures.
