D is for Dancing

I've been doing for as long as I can remember. All the way from Hawaii in my mu'umu'u

till a few years ago in my regalia for kahiko.

(I'm the third girl in the row.)

I've loved it forever. It is a part of me and teaches me about my culture and my ancestors.
I've branched out as I've gotten older and tried zumba and many other forms of dance, but the one I always come back to is hula. One day hula sissys and brothers, it will call me back home again.

While I am not particularly graceful, I love chaperoning the dances at my school and just letting loose. I like to THINK the kids get a kick out of it!
