coaches and he becomes fully consumed and I become a Basketball Widow. He loves it (meaning eats, drinks, sleeps it) and although I love it too, once I start missing him too much, then I'm ready for it be over!
My favorite part: is that Madness that is March. It is amazing to watch small Cinderella teams concur the Giants and participating in the brackets, isn't half bad either. My very first cell phone was bought with my winnings from the brackets one year. And although my bracket will not bring me the big win tonight, I'm hoping that Kentucky will win because then at least I will be in 2nd place!

Basketball is really big here in the south. I admit I haven't really caught the bug yet, except with my son's former college VCU, they're pretty much the only team I follow! Enjoyed your story!
If you can't beat them, join them. Since you become a basketball widow, you might as well join in and enjoy.
I've never been much into basketball myself. Football is the sport we watch most.
