Wednesday Hodgepodge

1. It's that most wonderful time of the year...tax season! Do you complete your own returns or farm that job out to the professionals?

I totally do my own, with a little help at the end to make sure I'm getting the most out of my taxes. It's a little hard when you are trying to run a small business and you have to do those taxes too. The great part is the return though! I love that return!

2. This next question comes from Kansas Bob...he posed it in his response to something I asked in an earlier Wednesday post and I asked him if I could add it to the Hodgepodge some day. Today's the day....

Which do you think has changed you more-love or pain?

I want to say love, but feel pain might be the right answer...but then again is there really a right or a wrong in this question. And really come to think of it, the answer has to be love. Love has changed me the most, because it has taught me the most and yes it has brought me pain (which has changed me too, but really it's love)

3. Tangerine Tango has been named color of the year for 2012. Your thoughts? Would I find this color anywhere in your house? How about in your closet? If not, will you be adding this color to your life in some way in 2012? If you're not sure what tangerine tango looks like click here.

I love this color and have been wearing it for years, but in my world it has been called coral. In my house, nope, but for sure on my body.

4. Are you a collector? What do you collect and does it get admired, used, and/or dusted regularly?

Collections typically collect dust, so what I like to collect is memories that are in my head! I do have pictures all over the place too that helps with those memories, but typically no collections here.

5. February is National Heart Month...besides a green salad what is one tasty heart healthy dish you like to prepare?

Hmmm...I eat healthy all the time and can't think of a snack to share. Oh wait, I've been doing apples and pb lately and it's yummy.

6. When was the last time you had car trouble?

Last time I had car trouble was when my car wouldn't start and I was stuck at a 7-11, something was for sure a foot! It had to have been about 3 years ago. I ended up having to call a tow truck to come and tow my car to the mechanics and funny, when the mechanic started it, it started right up. Such b.s! He said it had to do with the anti-theft locks!

7. Have you been more demanding on yourself lately or less? Is that a good trend?

More demanding on myself for sure and it isn't a good trend. I seem to be drowning in it. But hopefully the new month will bring in less demandingness into my life and it will be all good again.

Birthday celebrations are totally amazing and tons of fun, why can't every day be my birthday?
