and it was a great thing, because the drive was 3 hours long!! And after seeing lots of this
about 15 min. outside of Ocean Shores the fog rolled in and there was no sunshine. Neither of us brought a jacket. I had a long sleeve and a couple pair of pants. Riles had no pants!
The following morning we woke up with our warmest clothes on,
some coffee to drink,
and to some beautiful sunshine! YEAH!!!
We headed down to the beach
and got stuck! The sand was tooo deep! Driving on the beach isn't safe for everyone! Nuts, but it was for sure fun. We got some help to pull us out and then headed to the shops and found out it was Arts and Crafts Festival Weekend. We went to the festival, of course, and found some fire starters but nothing else. We got hungry, so we went and ate some pizza and watched the UH vs. UW game
And rode into the wind on the beach...can you say, WORKOUT!
We did some more off-roading on the way back.
After we returned the bike we headed down to the south end of Ocean Shores and laid out, aka took a nap,
watching some seals getting fish. As night came in, we bbqed and then headed out to watch the sunset.
The following morning, we woke up to more wonderful rays of sunshine on our tent, so we packed up and headed back to the beach for a morning walk on the beach. It got so hot, we HAD to take off our shirts, so we didn't die of heat. After our walk, we jumped into the van and headed home to watch some football, but before we made it all the way home we made a side stop.

Yes, we started with the same drinks and we ended the trip with the same drinks.
