Spokane Trip

Two weekends ago, I headed east to hang out with my niece and nephew! We had tons of fun and it was so great to see how big they have gotten. One of the fun things we got to do was deliver meals to older people who receive Meals on Wheels.






We also went to lunch at the Chinese Buffet! I went and picked up the last of my pieces of pottery that turned out adorable! But then found out that Leia's heart was missing, so they gave me another one for her to paint, so I guess we will have another date to paint (hopefully we can do it over Thanksgiving!)
Leia did some measuring of my foot and we also realized we had same same shoes and same same toes painted.



We played lots of beauty shop and watched the naked men dancing (my hula brothers had just been in a competition, so we were watching them in their malos!) My nephew did a great job of hanging out, until he was done!




My cousin, who was on 2 week leave from the Navy, and I got to go and watch my sister do the news, which on Friday night she only does about 5 min. because the rest of the news cast is dedicated to high school sports. We had a great time seeing her in action. Each time I see her she gets better and better. But before that, we had a wonderful dinner (chicken katsu) cooked by my handsome God brother!
On the drive home, I took my cousin on a tour of CWU and we even went out to the airfield, which I had never been too. Then got stuck in poopy traffic right before the pass. Therefore the drive home took 6 hours rather than the 4 it took to get there! Boo!
