Janee and Shane
Last Saturday one of my wonderful friends married her best friend, a man she can't imagine her life without. I was sooo happy to be there after much distress in finding the place (directions not so good - another reason I need a GPS) and thinking it was at 6 and not 5.
Their wedding was held at the VFW on Mercer Island. It was a beautiful old building with a wonderful view of Bellevue. The ceremony was officiated by one of their friends who with her first few words got a little choked up! Janee and Shane shared words of their own, they exchanged rings, and then they kissed to make it official!
We went outside to take a few pictures as the crew inside moved the tables into place and got the ceremony ready for us. When we walked back in, there had been a transformation and we were all ready to party and that is what we did!
There was an ice cream sundae bar and a candy bar! People after my own heart!
And they played the newlywed game.
They had a smile booth and I decided to take some photos of my own. Yes I was so excited they were married (photo 1) sad I was not married (photo 2) thought I wasn't married cause I was crazy (photo 3) and then had too much to drink (photo 3) I love the photos, but was sad I didn't look beautiful in the last one. When I showed the pictures to the wonderful Brian Iverson, he said he saw a beautiful girl in 4 photos. I heart that man!!!!
End of the night....I brought these things home.
OH WAIT!!! I also brought something else home. They are white, with green leaves and sit in water!!!! Yep caught "some" of the bouquet!!!! Yes! It's me next!!! Which, when everyone else is married, I hope it would be me!
